LONDON - ANOTHER PLACE ERIC CALLED HOME
Eric spent his Junior year in London. The curriculum was rigorous at Imperial College, but Eric got through it and found time to enjoy the pubs and discover cave exploration. But it was the people there that he loved most of all. And they loved him.

These three pictures tell a lot about Eric. The first picture was taken on one of his first nights in London. True to form, Eric instantly made friends with many of the kids he met at school.

To symbolize the big change in moving to London, Eric went with the short buzz cut. A very new look, but typical of Eric's "go for it!" attitude.

When Eric's year in London was over, some of the friends he made there got together and put together this photo album for him. The pictures in it are pretty unremarkable, but 21 of his closest friends wrote amazing tributes to their friend from the states, telling about how much he meant to them and how in many cases, he had changed their lives. This book remained one of Eric's favorite possessions.

A couple years after Eric returned to the U.S., Aiysha and Annie, two of the girls he met in London, came to visit him. In true Eric fashion, he arranged for them to spend a few nights in Sacramento with his parents and a few nights in Beverly Hills with his grandparents so they could see more of California.

He returned to London the following year to reunite with them. Eric travelled extensively, but London was always very special to him.
