A PERSONAL TOUCH
Eric believed in taking the time to handwrite personal notes of thanks and encouragement. Of course, it took some effort to decipher his handwriting.

EVEN AT HIS JOB
Eric's first job out of college was fine, but he really wanted to work in a fast paced environment with people his own age, so he was thrilled to land a position at Invoca in September.
While his role did not entail any management responsibilities, Eric's aptitude for leadership certainly showed up.
He genuinely appreciated when people helped him learn anything, even if it was their responsibility to teach him.
Here are two notes that he wrote to people at his company to express his appreciation for sharing some of their knowledge with him.
What's most impressive is that it's hard to tell which one of these was written to a senior member of the company's management team and which was to a coworker.

Eric always went out of his way to encourage others, and handwritten notes like these were just one way he could remind friends, family and coworkers that he genuinely cared about them.
